Description

LUBI-TSEMENTSEGU
LIME-CEMENT MIXTURE
Plastic lime-cement mixture for plastering and mortar work
To be applied manually or with a plaster gun

COMPOSITION
Quartz sand with a max. grain size of 1.5 mm, hydrated lime and Portland cement in an approx. ratio of 1:1 and additives enhancing treatment.
The colour of the hardened mixture is light grey.

APPLICATION AREAS
For levelling and plastering walls made from various mineral construction materials indoors and outdoors.
For repairing old plastered surfaces.
For masonry work.

SUBSTRATE
Suitable substrates are limestone, brick, expanded clay, lightweight concrete, concrete, old concrete and other moisture-resistant surfaces.
The substrate must be clean, strong and dust-free.
Substances weakening adhesion to the substrate such as loose paint, grease, dust and previous levelling layers not resistant to moisture must be removed.

PREPARATION FOR USE
Pour the necessary amount of mixture powder into a mixing container.
Add water in an amount of 18–20% of powder weight. (4.5–5 litres per 25 kg bag)
Stir mechanically or manually until the compound is fully wet.
Let the mix settle a bit and stir once again. Suitable working temperature +5–30 0C
Use the prepared mix within 2 hours.

WORKING WITH THE MIXTURE
Very dry and porous surfaces must be moistened before plastering.
The mixture is applied on the surface manually or with a plaster gun. The thickness of one plaster layer is 5-25 mm. For levelling the mixture use plumb rules-trowels and sleekers.
The curing and processing time on the wall depends on the water absorption properties of the substrate, thickness of the layer, temperature and air humidity.
It is recommended to protect the freshly plastered surfaces from drying too fast and cold. Before applying the next plaster layer wait until the previous one is completely dry.
The plastered surfaces can be finished with paint after they are completely dry.
The mixture can be used for masonry work. Can be used for laying natural stones and renovating old masonry.

TECHNICAL DATA
The compression strength of the hardened mixture is not less than 10 MPa pursuant to EVS-EN 1015-11.
Water vapour permeability factor μ 27 pursuant to EVS-EN 1015-19.
Adhesion strength ≤ 0.3 MPa. Fire sensitivity A1 (non-combustible).
Approx. consumption around 16 kg per plastering one square metre with a one cm layer.

LIMITATIONS – STORAGE
The temperature of the substrate, plaster and room must be over + 50C
Bagged mix powder has to be stored in dry conditions.
The shelf life of the mixture powder is one year.
