Description
SOOJUSTAV KERGKROHV SILER LIGHT
INSULATING LIGHT PLASTER SILER LIGHT
May be applied manually or with a mortar gun.
COMPOSITION
Lightweight aggregate, limestone powder, quartz sand. As a binder cement, polymers and additives improve processing.
The colour of the hardened mixture is white.
USAGE
For levelling and plastering walls made from various mineral construction materials.
For repairing old plastered surfaces.
For interior and exterior use.
SUBSTRATE
Suitable substrates are lightweight concrete, brick, expanded clay, concrete, old plaster and other moisture resistant surfaces.
The substrate must be clean, hard and free of dust.
Substances that can weaken bonding to the substrate such as loose paint, grease, dust and previously applied not moisture-resistant levelling substances must be removed.
PREPARATION FOR USE
Pour the required quantity of the dry mix in the mixing bowl.
Add water 28-30% of the mix weight. (4.2–4.5 litres per 15 kg package)
Stir mechanically or manually until the mix is completely wet.
Let the mix stand for a while and mix once again. Suitable working temperature is from +5 ºC to +30 ºC.
The ready mix is usable for approx. 2 hours.
APPLYING
Very dry and porous surfaces should be moistened before plastering.
The mix is applied on the surface manually or with a mortar gun. The thickness of one plaster layer is 5-30 mm. The mix is levelled with plumb rules, floats or trowels.
The curing and processing time on the wall depends on the water absorbency of the substrate, layer thickness, temperature and relative humidity.
It is recommended to protect the freshly plastered surfaces against drying too rapidly, and frost. Before the next plaster layer is applied on the wall the previous layer must be dry.
The plastered surfaces can be painted after they are completely dry.
TECHNICAL DATA
Compressive strength of the hardened plaster mix not less than 5 MPa pursuant to the requirements of EVS-EN 1015-11.
Water vapour permeability μ ≤15 pursuant to the requirements of EVS-EN 1015-19.
Bond strength >0.3 N/mm²
Thermal conductivity T 2 pursuant to the requirements of EVS-EN 998-1:2010.
Dry density ≤ 1000 kg/m³ pursuant to the requirements of EVS-EN 1015-10.

Estimated consumption approx. 12-15 kg per plastering one square metre with 1 cm layer.
LIMITATIONS – STORAGE
Substrate, plaster and ambient temperature during the application process must exceed + 5 ºC
Bagged mix powder has to be stored in dry conditions.
The shelf life of the mixture powder is one year.
