UniTherm-3 STRUCTURAL PLASTER

POLYMER-CEMENT BASED FINISHING PLASTER

FILLING COMPOUND: WHITE MARBLE POWDER
FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR USE

COMPOSITION
White marble powder, white cement, polymers and plasticisers.
STRUCTURAL PLASTER is manufactured in three different grain sizes: 2 and 3 mm (SNAKE-TYPE) and 3 mm (COAT-TYPE). Relevant marking can be found on the front side of the package.

SUBSTRATE
Insulation material surfaces pre-treated with ARMOURING GLUE and any other kind of smooth, clean, hard and dust-free substrates.
Clean substrates from substances reducing bonding properties, such as loose paint, grease, dust, etc.
If necessary treat substrates with Uninaks NAKKEDISPERSIOON.

MIXING
Water consumption is 22-28% or 5.5-7 litres of clean tepid water per 25 kg dry mix package.
Water consumption depends on the surface structure, moisture absorption properties of the substrate and ambient temperature.
Pour the necessary quantity of tepid water into the mixing bowl. Add mix powder.
Mix carefully until the mixture is completely wet. Wait for a couple of minutes and stir lightly once again.
Depending on environmental conditions use ready-made structural plaster within 2-3 hours.

APPLICATION
Use a steel trowel to apply structural plaster onto the substrate.
The thickness of the layer should be 2 or 3 mm (depending on the grain size).
Remaining mix shall be removed from the surface. It can be re-stirred in the mixing bowl and thereafter re-used.
Use a reamer for treating the mix applied onto the wall and give the surface a desired structure. Prepare a surface you can treat within 15-20 minutes. Applying the mix and treating it should be a continuous process without interruptions and breaks.
NB! Each foreman has his own handwriting, which can be later noticed on the ready plaster surface.

CURING
Structural plaster is touch dry in approximately one day.
Plaster surface is load-bearing and ready to paint in 3-4 days.

CONSUMPTION
Plaster mix with a grain size of 2 mm app. 3 kg/m2.
Plaster mix with a grain size of 3 mm app. 4 kg/m2.

LIMITATIONS – WARNINGS
Substrate and ambient temperature during the application process shall exceed +5 0C.
Drying fresh surfaces shall be protected from rain and direct sunlight exposure.
The product contains cement. Contact with water causes an alkaline reaction. Can cause skin irritation. Upon contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water.
