FAST – SETTING TILE ADHESIVE

Tile adhesive is based on cement and polymers designed for fast application.
Used for applying ceramic, clinker and mosaic tiles to stone, plaster, concrete, old tiling, also to plasterboard and special chipboard, if specified in manufacturer’s instructions. The mix enables to install plasterboard on stone, concrete and plaster surfaces. Naks-3 can be used in dry, humid and wet conditions. The floor is walkable in and jointing can be performed after 3-4 hours. Working time is 25-30 minutes after adding water.

Product coverage: 3-4 kg/m2 depending on the background and layer thickness.
Grain size >0.63mm.
Package: 5 and 25 kg
After the final setting, the mix is heat- and cold-resistant.

FAST-SETTING TILE ADHESIVE
 
Used indoors and outdoors.

USAGE
Tile adhesive based on fast-setting grey cements designed for fast application.
Suitable to be used on all mineral substrates, such as plaster, concrete, stone, gypsum boards, etc. Also to be used on substrates already covered, stoves, hot walls, etc.
Used for installing wall and floor tiles in dry, humid and wet conditions.
Suitable for installing glazed, clinker and stone tiles.
For installing gypsum boards on mineral surfaces.

MIXING
Pour mixture into a mixer or a bowl with a wide opening.
Add water 25% of the weight of the mixture
(6,25 l per 25 kg package or 1,25 l per 5 kg box).
Mix carefully with a mixer.
Wait for 3-5 minutes and mix moderately once again.
Ready mixture to be used within 1 hour after adding water. Adding water at a later stage does not recover the initial properties of the mixture.

APPLICATION
Moisture-sensitive surfaces to be primed with Uninaks MOISTURE-PROOF MIXTURE. Weak substrates to be strengthened with Uninaks ADHESIVE DISPERSION.
Apply mixture with the aid of a spatula onto a floor or wall surface. Mixture can also be applied directly onto every individual tile.
Apply mixture on an area you are able to cover with tiles within 5 minutes.
Tiles already installed can be adjusted within 3-5 minutes.

CURING
The installed tiles are ready for jointing works in 2 hours.
The installed tiles can be walked on and are ready for jointing works in 3-4 hours.
The floor must not be loaded before 24 hours.

LIMITATIONS – WARNINGS
The room, mixture and surface temperature must be above +10 ˚C during the tiling process and 24 hours after that. Lower temperatures prolong the curing process and interfere with the quality of the mixture.
Sub-floor heating MUST NOT be used while tiling and for 24 hours before and after tiling.
This product contains cement. Contact with water causes an alkaline reaction. Can cause skin irritation. Upon contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. For more specific information please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
Avoid contact of residual mixture with a sewerage system.

CONSUMPTION
Consumption of the mixture for installing 1 m2 of tiles is 3-4 kg, depending on the substrate and thickness of the layer.

STORAGE
Dry and in original condition 6 months.
