TILE ADHESIVE FOR WHTIE, TRANSPARENT AND MARBLE TILES. JOINT FILLER FOR BULK FILLING.

White tiling mix.
Used for applying ceramic, clinker and mosaic tiles to stone, plaster, concrete, plasterboard and other solid surfaces. Used for fixing wall and floor tiles. Naks-5 can be used in internal and external conditions, and is heat- and cold-resistant after the final setting. Naks-5 can be used as joint filler for bulk filling. Jointing can be performed after 24 hours. It is recommended not to walk on the tiled floor within the first 2-3 days.

Product coverage: 3-4 kg/m2 depending on the background and layer thickness.

JOINT FILLER FOR BULK FILLING

USAGE
For installing ceramic, clinker and stone tiles to stone, plaster, concrete, gypsum board and other solid surfaces.
For installing wall and floor tiles.
For installing tiles onto old tiles.
To be used indoors and outdoors.
Cured mixture is frost and heat-resistant.

MIXING
Pour mixture into a mixer or a bowl with a wide opening.
Add water approx. 20-22% of the weight of the mixture (5-5.5 l per 25 kg package or 1-1.1 l per 5 kg box).
Mix carefully mechanically or manually.
Wait 10 minutes before installing tiles and thereafter stir the mixture moderately once again.
Ready mixture to be used within 4 hours after adding water.

APPLICATION
Apply mixture onto wall with the aid of a special toothed spatula or apply mixture onto individual tiles with the aid of a spatula and thereafter install tiles on the wall.
Thickness of the mixture layer applied onto the wall is normally 3-8 mm.
Apply mixture on a wall area you are able to cover with tiles within 10 minutes.

CURING
The installed tiles are ready for jointing works in
24 hours.
Restrict traffic for 2-3 days.

CONSUMPTION
Consumption of the mixture for installing 1 m2 of tiles is 3-4 kg, depending on the substrate and thickness of the layer.

TILE JOINTING
Light shade of colour and fine texture (fraction size up to 0.4 mm) also makes Naks-5 mixture suitable for filling medium and wider joints.
Maximum joint width should not exceed 10 mm.
It is recommended to use a rubber spatula for filling joints.
Moisten the surface of tiles before jointing.
Mixture to be applied into joints with diagonal movement over joints.
Depending on the environment tiles should be cleaned from excess mixture within 15-30 minutes after filling joints.
Use a damp sponge for cleaning.
Use a dry cloth for final cleaning when the mixture is hardened.
Consumption of the mixture when jointing is
1-2 kg/m2.

LIMITATIONS
Temperature of the mixture and substrate during tiling must exceed +5 0C for 2 days.
The product contains cement. Contact with water causes an alkaline reaction. Can cause skin irritation. Upon contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water. For more specific information please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
 
STORAGE
One year in original condition.
Packages to be stored in a dry room.
