VERTICAL JOINTING CONCRETE NAKS VVB50

For vertical jointing of concrete elements

Compressive strength class C40/50

Pumpable fine-grained non-draining dry concrete with fibre additive
For the filling of vertical panel joints with a concrete pump
For the filling of gaps in reinforced concrete details with one-sided formwork
For the repair of various assembly faults in the assembly of reinforced concrete
Concrete for use indoors and outdoors

NB! In winter concrete is produced for use in temperatures of up to -10 0C

COMPOSITION
Silica sand (maximum grain size 3 mm), Portland cement, binders, polymers and plasticisers, fibre additive.

PREPARATION
The best way of installing vertical jointing concrete is with a concreting or plastering machine.
Clean the surface you wish to use the concrete on, removing any dust and debris.
Pour the required amount of mix powder into the mixing container or device.
Add water at 17% of the weight of the mixture (4.25 litres per 25 kg packet).
Blend carefully by hand or with the mixing device until the mixture is wet through.
Allow the mixture to stand and then stir again.
The ready mix will be able to be used for one hour.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Concrete 7-day compressive strength ≥40 MPa
Concrete 28-day compressive strength ≥50 MPa
Dry mixture density 1.5 kg/dm3
Blended mixture density 2.2 kg/dm3
Maximum diameter of filling substance grains 3 mm
In winter dry concrete is produced using an anti-cold agent. See the respective green sticker on the packet.
Lower temperatures reduce the speed of the hardening of the mixture. When using the mixture with the anti-cold additive in minus temperatures, the temperature may fall below the minus degrees indicated on the packet after use. In this event the hardening process may stop and only begin again when the temperature rises. In such a case you may expect a weakening in the strength of the concrete of up to 20%, depending on the hardening environment.
NB! Vertical jointing concrete can also be successfully used as brazing concrete in the assembly of concrete elements.

MAINTENANCE & WARNINGS
Mix powder in packets should be stored in a dry room.
Mix powder will last one year in original condition.
This product contains cement. Contact with water will cause an alkaline reaction. This may cause skin irritation. In the event of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. For more detailed information please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
