SILER-1

MOISTUREPROOF UNDERCOAT PLASTER

Basic tones are grey or greyish white, and 11 coloured tones.

 USAGE
Used for interior and exterior application.
Suitable for spraying.
Since ground limestone is used as the main filler, Siler-1 is “breathing” plaster, and thus suitable for skim plastering on limestone surfaces.

SUBSTRATES
Cement, ground limestone and polymer based undercoat plaster, maximum grain size 0.4 mm.
For use on concrete, lightweight concrete, plaster, stone and other moistureproof surfaces.

PREPARATIONS
Background must be clean, solid and dustfree.
Paint, grease, dust and other substances that impair adhesion must be removed.
If applied by hand, add water 30%. If used as spray plaster, add water 35%.
Working time of ready-mixed plaster is 6 hours.
The background, plaster and room temperature during the plastering must be above +5˚C.
After the final setting, the plaster is heat- and cold-resistant. The finished surface accepts all paints suitable for mineral surfaces.

INSTALLATION
Very dry and porous surfaces are recommended to be sprinkled with water beforehand.
Plastered surfaces that dry off very rapidly are recommended to be sprinkled with water afterwards.
In case of partial plastering the layer thickness is up to 5 mm.
When covering larger areas, the thickness of one coat is usually 1-3 mm.
The average setting time for one coat until it can be treated with abrasive is 2-6 hours.

Product coverage: partial plastering 0.5-1 kg/m2, large areas 1.3-1.5 kg/m2.

COMPOSITION
ground limestone ca 80%, white cement ca 15%, plasticizers and polymers ca 5%.
