SUBSTRATE
Concrete and plaster surfaces. Various construction blocks and stones, also other expansion-proof mineral surfaces.
The substrate shall be clean, hard and dust-free. Clean substrates from substances reducing bonding properties, such as loose paint, grease, dust, etc.
MIXING
Water consumption is 20-24% or 5-6 litres of clean tepid water per 25 kg dry mix package.
Pour the necessary quantity of water into the mixing bowl. Add mix powder.
Mix carefully until the mixture is completely wet. Wait for a couple of minutes and stir lightly once again.
Depending on environmental conditions use ready-made bonding mix within 2-3 hours.
APPLICATION
Smooth and even substrates: apply bonding mix with the aid of a scratcher over the substrate or insulation material.
Uneven substrates: apply bonding mix in the form of an even swath onto the back side of the insulation material, about 5 cm from the edges.
Add 3-4 mix balls into the centre of the insulation board. Use an uphill installation direction.
Check that bonding mix does not fall between insulation boards.
Check regularly that the installed installation material is set level.
CURING
The already installed insulation boards can be additionally fixed with connectors in a day.
Use normally 6 connectors per m2 of insulation material.
The installed insulation is ready for armouring with UniTherm Armouring glue in 24 hours.
Insulation bonding mix is dry and lightly load-bearing in 2-3 days.
CONSUMPTION
When gluing insulation boards consumption of bonding mix depends on the evenness of the substrate.
Average consumption is 4-8 kg/m2.
LIMITATIONS – WARNINGS
Substrate and ambient temperature during the application process shall exceed +5 0C.
The product contains cement. Contact with water causes an alkaline reaction. Can cause skin irritation. Upon contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water.

STORAGE
Shelf life in original package and in dry storage conditions is up to one year.
