FURNACE MIX +1700 ⁰C

USAGE
For laying chamotte brick furnaces

COMPOSITION
Fine-grained chamotte fraction (over 95%) and other heat-resistant additives.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
Furnace mix fraction below 0.2 mm.
Fire resistance of the furnace mix +1700 ⁰C.
Consumption rate of dry mix per chamotte brick approximately 0.2 kg.

PREPARATIONS
Pour the required quantity of the dry mix in the mixing bowl or mixer.
Add water 25-27% of the mix weight.
Stir mechanically or manually until the mix is completely wet.
The ready mix resembles grainy pasta.
Usage time of ready mix: up to 4 hours.

APPLICATION
Minimum working temperature + 5 ⁰C.
Furnace mix thickness between chamotte bricks should be 2-3 mm.
The mix cures and forms a bond between bricks in a couple of hours.

STORAGE
Mix powder should be stored in its original package in a dry room.
Shelf life of the mix in an unopened original package is 12 months from the manufacturing date.
