FOR JOINTING COBBLESTONES AND NATURAL STONES

CAN BE USED INDOORS AND OUTDOORS.
Ideal to be used on all pavements, where rigid or bound joints without gaps are required.
The product is intended to be used on the pedestrian areas in city centres, sidewalks and driveways, it can be used combined with natural stones and concrete and clay paving stones.
COMPOSITION
Fillers with a max. fraction size of 2 mm, portland cement, quick-set cement and other additives.
PREPARATIONS FOR USING JOINTING CONCRETE NAKS VB
Pour the required quantity of the dry mix in the mixing bowl or mixer.
Add water 14-15% of the mix weight. (3.5–3.75 litres per 25 kg package)
Stir mechanically until the mix is completely wet and uniform.
Ready mix to be used within 20 minutes after adding water.
USING JOINTING CONCRETE NAKS VB
To be used in joints with a width of 5–60 mm and depth of 30–200 mm. At least 1/3 of the joint.
Application temperature from +5 to +25°C.
After adding water the mixture should be used within 20 minutes.
The mix must be mixed carefully with water approx. 3–5 minutes until the mix is completely wet. Thereafter the mix must be poured in the joints or on the surface to be jointed. The surfaces must be clean and free of dust. Given to the liquid consistency of the mix, the joints can be fully filled. Once the mix has achieved its initial hardness, the top surface of the paving stones must be cleaned with a brush and plenty of water. Initial hardening depends on the air temperature, wind and the temperature of the stones to be installed. In warmer weather hardening is quicker, in cooler weather slower (20-40 minutes). When cleaning with pressurised water, the jet must not be directed straight in the joint!
Cobblestones jointed with jointing concrete can be walked on in 24 hour. The road can be opened for light traffic 72 hours after jointing.

After adding water 25 kg of dry concrete makes approx. 12 litres of ready jointing concrete (0.012 m3).
The volume of the mixture is stable and the mixture is resistant to temperature fluctuations.
The colour of the mixture is grey.
Package: 25 kg paper bag (42 bags per pallet).
NB! Lower temperatures and insufficient moisture level slow down the hardening process of concrete.
RECOMMENDATIONS – WARNINGS
Substrate and ambient temperature during the application process must be between +5 and +25 °C.
This product contains cement. Contact with water will cause an alkaline reaction. Can cause skin irritation. In the event of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. For more detailed information please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
STORAGE
Mix powder in packets should be stored in a dry room.
The shelf life of the mixture powder is up to 6 months. The manufacturing date of the product is shown on the packaging.
